About Nicki

I’m Nicki—women’s leadership coach, speaker, author, and founder of Love-Led Leadership®.

I’ve spent 35 years learning one thing above all else:

The way you lead your life is the way you lead everything.

That belief started long before my career. I spent much of my childhood alone, and while that wasn’t always easy, it gave me a deep appreciation for real connection—and an understanding that what people crave most isn’t recognition, but relevance. They want to know that who they are and what they bring actually matters.

That understanding became the foundation of everything I believe about leadership.

Over the years, my work has taken me from business ownership to civic leadership, from mentoring college students to writing, speaking, and developing women’s leadership programs. Through it all, one truth has remained constant:

People thrive when they are led with intention, integrity, and genuine care.

I’ve seen and experienced what happens when leadership loses sight of people—when talented, capable individuals begin to question their value, silence their ideas, and slowly become shadows of themselves.

That experience led me to a truth that has stayed with me ever since:

Culture is what leadership allows.

Love-Led Leadership came to me one morning while I was working on a blog. I kept hearing the phrase over and over, and I couldn’t shake it.

As I began researching, I discovered leaders, organizations, and scholars exploring love as a powerful force in the workplace—not as sentimentality, but as a practice for building clarity, trust, and care.

That is how Love-Led Leadership was born.

Today, Love-Led Leadership is the framework behind my coaching, helping women lead themselves first so they can grow, transition, and lead others with clarity, confidence, and presence.

This work is not something I teach from a place of having it all figured out. But practicing this framework has changed my life in ways I didn’t expect.
